KASP Learning (“KASP”, “we”, “our”, “us”) explains here how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you visit kasp.edu.lk, contact us, apply for a programme, or make a payment through our site. This notice is written for students, parents and guardians, applicants, and website visitors in Sri Lanka and abroad.

1) Who we are and how to contact us

If you have questions or requests about your data, email us with the subject “Privacy Request” and include your contact details so we can verify your identity.
2) What information we collect
Information you provide directly: name, phone number, email, address, national ID or passport, date of birth, prior education and grades, references, supporting documents, and the details you enter when applying for a programme.
Payment information: when you pay a registration fee, tuition, or any other fee through PayHere, your card or bank details are collected and processed by PayHere and our bank partners, not stored by KASP.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referral source, and timestamps, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.
Information from third parties: lead forms and messaging platforms such as Meta or Instagram lead forms and WhatsApp click to chat, only where you have interacted with them or given permission.
3) Why we use your information
To process applications, determine eligibility, issue offer letters, and manage enrolment. To process payments of registration fees and tuition through PayHere. To respond to enquiries and send reminders about deadlines and required documents. To send updates on programmes, intakes, and events, where you have agreed to receive them. To operate, secure, and improve our website. To meet legal and regulatory requirements.
4) Payment processing
All online payments on kasp.edu.lk are processed through PayHere, a licensed payment gateway. We do not store your full card number or banking credentials. PayHere’s own privacy and security terms apply to the payment step, and you can review them on PayHere’s website.
5) Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site and process payments, including PayHere, hosting providers, email or SMS tools, and analytics tools. We also share information with academic partners involved in delivering the programme you apply for, and with authorities where required by law.
6) International transfers
Your data may be stored or processed outside Sri Lanka, for example on secure cloud servers. Where this happens, we use reasonable contractual and technical safeguards to protect it.
7) Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for security, functional cookies for preferences, and analytics cookies to understand site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly without them.
8) Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@kasp.edu.lk. We may need to verify your identity first.
9) Data retention
We keep application and student records for as long as needed for academic, legal, or audit purposes. Marketing leads are kept for as long as we remain in contact with you, unless you ask us to stop sooner.
10) Children’s information
Our programmes are intended for applicants aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian when contacting us or submitting forms.
11) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit where appropriate. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and take care with links and attachments.
12) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The current version will always be the one shown on this page.
